INSIGHT™ Subluxation Station: At Springfield Family Chiropractic, we are proud to have the Insight Subluxation Station available as part of our initial chiropractic exam. The scanning technology has been certified by the Space Foundation to prove a reliable, scientifically valid, quantitative and multidimensional representation of patient well-being.
The INSIGHT™ system allows Dr. Dawn Wille and Dr. Ryan Wille to analyze each patient’s condition more accurately and communicate the findings more effectively. The detailed chiropractic reports provided by the system give us a building block to map a course of treatment and the progress of the patient during the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.
The neuroTHERMAL™ Scanner
The INSIGHT neuroTHERMAL™ Scanner is a rolling segmental thermal scanner that uses infrared sensors to take temperature readings. The equipment allows us to evaluate autonomic nerve function by measuring temperature differentials.
The scanner has an adjustable sensor array that provides Dr. Dawn Wille and Dr. Ryan Wille with the ability to take readings from any size spine, whether it be an infant, child or adult.
Static and Dynamic Surface Electromyograpy (sEMG)
The sEMG technology reads electrical activity in order to measure paraspinal tension similar to the use of electromyagraphy in EKG/heart rate measurement machines.
The electric current pattern is a crucial indication of how the body functions. If the muscles on each side of the spine are not in balance, the body is forced to compenstate, which takes energy. The alterations in the electrical activity can provide insight on the muscular changes linked to vertebral subluxations (misalignments of the spine). As such, we use the sEMG to establish a baseline for paraspinal electrical activity to monitor the progress and course of action for therapy provided.
The neuroPULSE™
The neuroPULSE™ helps chiropractors assess and monitor the impact of stress on patients through Heart Rate Variability (HRV) readings. NeuroPULSE™ readings give chiropractors a scientifically valid proof point to show patients exactly how chiropractic care, within the greater context of a healthy lifestyle, is supporting their heart and promoting their well-being. Chiropractors can also identify imbalances in the autonomous system and clearly document their progress over time.
What is HRV and how does it affect well-being?
HRV refers to the beat-to-beat variability of the heart, and provides incredible insight into autonomic nervous system function. Though it may seem counterintuitive, a higher HRV is actually a good thing: it means that there is a greater variability in the time between heart beats so this organ is better able to respond to stress, sickness or physical activity. The more adaptable a patient’s heart, the less damage any stress-related spikes will be for overall health and well-being. With the neuroPULSE™, chiropractors can establish a baseline HRV for each patient. This provides a concrete starting point to track a patient’s progress as they work toward wellness.

I have been treating with Springfield family chiropractic for over 5 years now. I was the typical chiropractic skeptic who thought they cracked your bones which could lead to arthritis. Both Drs Dawn and Ryan took the time to educate me and my family about the importance of chiropractic care and exactly what it was. I began treating with them and immediately felt a difference. If this wasn’t enough to completely change my views on chiropractic already, my husband injured himself at work and could barley walk at 27. He was using a walker and the ER Doctors told him there was nothing that could be done and he would be on pain medications forever. After one treatment with Dr. Dawn, he was standing upright. After visit two, he walked out with no assistance. Needless to say, we are both fans of the Drs here and chiropractic now. Also, our daughter was three weeks old when she had her first chiropractic adjustment and I wouldn’t have made it through my pregnancy without Dr. Dawn’s constant care, adjustments and over all complete attention to detail. To say this office and their Doctors are amazing at what they do is an understatement. They are not only there to adjust their patients, but they also take the time to get to know each patient personally and tailor each treatment and visit to that patient’s needs. I have been seeing Drs Dawn and Ryan for many years now. As a Master Certified Fitness Consultant I have my share of ailments. To say that these two people are amazing would be an understatement. I’ve had injuries where surgery was recommended by my GP. I never needed it after being treated by this team. They never give up on trying to find a solution to your problem. They take the time to actually listen to you! Come on, you know this is rare in the medical industry. I continually recommend them to everyone when speaking about the body, exercise, health, and well-being. Thank you for all that you do!!

First of all let me start by saying Dr. Dawn And Dr. Ryan Wille Just don’t do back adjustments, they are treating the whole body and get to the root of the problem. The two doctors in this office are so pleasant to deal with, I just love this place. Dr. Dawn even does Kinesio Taping, corrective exercises, nutritional counseling and spine and postural screenings. I gave 5 stars wish I could give more.

Every since I started going to them on June of 2016 I’ve come a long way Dr Dawn and Dr Ryan Are awesome they welcome u with open arms like family and there staff is as awesome I enjoy going to them and I thank them every time… I will say I’ve been feeling so much better and I thank god for them….my 14 year old daughter also gets treated by them and her herself has been feeling better too and enjoys going to them… if I could give more stars I would… thank you so much Dr Dawn and Dr Ryan…

I’ve been a member of the Springfield Family Chiropractic “family” since 2004. From day one up until present day, Dr. Dawn and Dr. Ryan Wille have consistently taken great care of ALL my needs while under their care for a back injury I suffered in 2004! I could not ask for a more friendlier Doctor’s office to visit (and I’ve visited many being a military veteran) than SFC! The doctors treat everyone like real people ALWAYS and the staff is just loads of fun to interact with! For all chiropractic needs, I completely trust the Springfield Family Chiropractic folks! They are just wonderful and down to earth health care professionals whom I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who needs specialized chiropractic care!
